Communities rely on their Civic Organizations for development, improvements, and representation within the city and county. For the past hundred years, Granada Hills has been well supported by its civic groups and non-profits.
Granada Hills Chamber of Commerce
The Granada Hills Chamber of Commerce is the leading organization dedicated to serving regional businesses and community prosperity through advocacy, access to leaders, economic development, connectivity, and business education.
Granada Hills Woman’s Club
The Granada Hills Woman’s Club is a philanthropic organization. This Club cooperates with the State and General Federations in promoting charitable, educational and service programs within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and preserving and caring for our historic clubhouse. We be nonprofit, nonpartisan, and nondenominational.

The Rotary Club of Granada Hills, San Fernando Valley’s business and civic organization since 1948, is comprised of some of the Valley’s most prominent leaders in business, legal, and not-for-profit sectors. A historic pillar in the community.
S.O.L.I.D.
The Supporters Of Law Enforcement in Devonshire (SOLID) was founded January 1993 to bridge the financial gap to assist in filling the equipment needs of our LAPD Devonshire Division. In the past three years, SOLID has purchased computers, fax machines, video equipment, vehicles, exercise equipment and more to help Devonshire Area provide a better level of service to the community. SOLID is a non-profit organization.
Granada Hills North Neighborhood Council
A Neighbor Council is the most local form of community representation. The boundaries of this council are:
- North – LA City/County Line
- West – Aliso Canyon (West of Zelzah)
- East – 405 and Interstate 5 Freeways
- South – 118 Freeway
Granada Hills South Neighbohood Council
A Neighbor Council is the most local form of community representation. The boundaries of this council are:
- 118 freeway on the North
- 405 freeway on the East
- Devonshire St on the South (West of Balboa Blvd), and Lassen St on the South (East of Balboa Blvd)
- Lindley / Aliso Canyon Wash on the West
Old Granada Village Business Improvement District
Mission: To enhance the Business Improvement District’s aesthetic streetscape curb appeal and overall attraction in order to promote and support the community and create a thriving commercial district through image enhancements and maintenance services within the BID district, in particular the “Old Granada Village” on Chatsworth Street between Zelzah and Encino.
Granada Hills Holiday Parade Boosters Club
The first annual Granada Hills Holiday Parade took place in 1984, and was founded by local Granada Hills businessman John Ciccarelli. Today the Parade Booster Club is an impressive range of resident and businessperson volunteers, working together in a year-long effort to present the largest participant and spectator community parade in the San Fernando Valley.
VFW Granada Hills Post 2323
The VFW advocates for Veterans of Foreign Wars, securing rights and benefits. The VFW provides college scholarships, helps fund Military Service memorials, fights to improve VA medical center services, and works to give educational benefits to America’s active-duty service members including the Guard and Reserves.
